After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, in the time of King Herod, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem saying, 'Where is the one who is born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.' (Mattew 2, 1-2)
— Master! Master!
— Yes!
— I finished. The Marduk and Adar calculations aligned in about half a year.
— That means that a great priest will be born. Probably the one that the Jews so much expect.
— Let's send a message to them.
— No. Let's go over there. Go to the king and ask for authorization for the caravan.
— Yes Master! — Weeks later the camels and donkeys were ready for a long journey. Three priests went, the king and his knights.
🌄
— King, it's still time to reconsider.
— Apprentice, if it is the Jewish messiah who is born. I need to adore him. — The caravan departs from Babylon towards Jerusalem. Near the end of the trip near Damascus they found another caravan. And using Greek to talk.
— Good evening!
— Good evening!
— Can we camp here with you?
— Yes! Where are they going?
— Jerusalem.
— So do we. We can go together?
— Sure. Where did they come from?
— From India we saw that there will be an alignment in the sky. That can be seen from Jerusalem. It will be something great.
— The birth of the Messiah of the Jews. — Wise men exchange their knowledge. The next day the two caravans go together to Jerusalem with their kings, priests and horsemen. When they reach the gates of Jerusalem they find another caravan.
— Good evening!
— Good evening!
— We came from Arabia to see the star and its great significance.
— We came from Persia and India with the same goal.
— Then let's go in.
— Not only kings and a priest from each caravan will enter. We need to know if it's right here. — Just as King Belquior said, they did. The three kings went to Herod's palace and the three priests to the temple.
When King Herod heard this he was alarmed, and all Jerusalem with him. (Matthew 2, 3)
— (Laughter) You are from India and you want to know about our faith. — The Pharisee leaves.
— Good evening! I am one of the Temple masters. What do you want to know?
— About the Messiah.
— The Messiah will be born according to the order of Melchizedek. He will be king and priest. He will be born of David's lineage in the city of Bethlehem.
— Where is Bethlehem? — The master explains the path for them and they tell of the alignment of the planets to the master. The priests thank the master and return to the caravan.
‘And you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are in no way least among the rulers of Judah, for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’ (Matthew 2, 6)
— The younger master was more attentive than the other.
— The more old, the more suspicious. — They spend the night in the camp and the next day the kings arrive.
— King Herod knows nothing.
— The prophecy says it is in Bethlehem.
— He will be king and priest.
— Priest??? We didn't bring incense.
— I'll buy in town. — Three young men enter Jerusalem and buy frankincense and myrrh. After shopping the caravan goes to Bethlehem and at dusk...
🌌
— I think we're lost.
— Master the Star! — They follow the stars until they find a group of shepherds.
When they saw the star they shouted joyfully (Matthew 2, 10)
— I'm telling you! I saw the Messiah. — The sheep continues to eat its grass. — You do not believe me. I'll take you there.
— Shalom!
— Shalom! — Both speak Aramaic.
— Do you know where we can find the Messiah of the Jews?
— Yes. — The shepherd leads them and leads the song of the angels. — Glooooriaaah 🎶🎶🎶... when they reach the cave, he gets scared. — He's not here anymore! And now?
— Meeeeeeeeeeeee!
— What is that noise?
— Sir, do you know of a baby who was born in this cave a few days ago?
— Yes, his mother is resting at my house. I will call them. — The host will call them. And soon Jesus, Mary and Joseph appear.
— We came to worship the Messiah of the Jews. — They prostate themselves. Each king gives a speech to the boy. The priests say their prayers. And the rest put the gifts next to the boy.
— Joseph thanks those present. — And give them fresh bread. The caravan returns to the camp and the apprentice has a dream.
After being warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they went back by another route to their own country. (Matthew 2, 12)
— We'll take another path.
— I will wait a few more days I have a wounded animal. — says King Baltazar. The caravan from Persia and India goes to Damascus in another way. Days later Joseph meets King Baltazar tells about his dream. And together they go to Arabia.
After they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, 'Get up, take the child and his mother and flee to Egypt, and stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to look for the child to kill him.' (Matthew 2, 13)
From Arabia Jesus, Mary and Joseph follow a caravan of merchants to Egypt.
This story is the way I imagine it was the story.
