 Monday - Lockdown Day 1

In the Square...

— Stay at home... Well, I don't have a home.  Now with no one passing by like me Nestor, the wanderer, I'm going to beg.  — He rolls up the newspaper in the shape of a megaphone and speaks.  — People, we are being deprived of social life.  This means that the end of the world is near.  And I, as guardian of the city, will be the first to face this invisible enemy.  Prepare your weapons!

In the Priest House...

— It's good to leave a snack for Nestor.  — The priest takes care and leaves a tray of breakfast on the bench in the square. — Ready!  I hope he likes it.  Let's start our live.  Would this link be here?  — Click! — Himself.

On Priest's Live...

— Good Morning!  Brothers and sisters, today we are going to say the Marian rosary, but first I would like to comment on what is in Wisdom chapter seven verse seven.* — He does the reading.  — Why did I choose that verse?  To emphasize the importance of the gift of wisdom in our lives.  In this delicate moment that we are going through.  If we do not act with the wisdom that the Holy Spirit gives us, we can go crazy.  Today I offer this rosary to all the citizens of this city.  I believe...

Hours later...

In front of the Northern Christian Church

— No!!!

— What a fright!  Good morning, Miss Elizabeth.  What happens?

— I know that you have your faith, Miss Nany, but please, she does not bless the temple of others.

— It is well!  But when that isolation ends.  I don't want any of those bikers from your church.  Making noise at my door at celebration time.

— I'm going to talk to them, I'm sorry, Miss Nany.  — She passes the church and continues to bless the city.

In Video Call...

— Good Morning!

— Good morning, mayor.  To what do I owe the honor?

— Priest was here studying about the Revelation and I came across an excerpt.  I was wondering if my interpretation is correct.

— Read please! — The pastor does the reading.**

— Is this Miguel what you have in your church?

— Saint Michael Archangel was in the battle of heaven.  There from one of the last orders of the angelic hierarchy.  He shouted, "Who like God?"  God heard his cry and removed the angels who were against his command.

The angel who goes against God is known to us as Satan.  Some call it Lucifer, but this name does not appear once in the Bible.  In this passage he appears as a dragon.  Do you know why?

— I know that one.  He was a serpent and was feeding on our sins.  That is why it grows so much that it looks like a dragon.

— Exactly.  We must fight against sin every day.

— I agree, Priest.  And with God we will win all battles just like Michael.

At night

On Pastor's Live...

— Good night, brothers!  Today I want to read with you Ephesians chapter six verses 10 to 13***. — He reads the passage. — Those who can read until the end of the chapter.  I chose this passage to show that clad in the garments that God has given us, we will win the battle.  This battle is not against another human being, but against what we do not see.

So here I want to give a sermon to those who go around making fun of the celebration of others.  God did not come down on Earth to condemn sinners, but to love them.  So, with the exception of this time of isolation.  The doors of the Church of Christ will always be open.  To be more explicit, I don't want any trouble at Miss Nany's door!

Back to the text... Our battle is against sin.  And to overcome it, we need God's help.  So we must wear an armor given by him.  Not like the one that Saul gave to David, which was big and heavy.  But armor that we can carry.  Here's the gospel! — He shows the Bible.  — Together with God through prayer we will win all battles.  Any questions about what I said put in the comments.  Good night and see you tomorrow!

"And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."

"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."
